RoSPA celebrates What Van? Safety Award win

RoSPA has been awarded the What Van? Safety Award for its innovative Driver Development course, which aims to combine both the theory and practice of defensiveWhat Van winner paint driving techniques.

The course is designed to teach drivers and riders the principles of a systematic and innovative approach to hazards, which is then applied to town, country and motorway driving. It raises awareness of driver behaviour and encourages safe decision-making.

The bespoke one-day course enables managers to meet their specific business needs and those of their individual drivers.

The What Van? Awards are considered the most prized independent recognition of excellence in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) industry.

Alongside the Driver Development course, RoSPA is continuously campaigning for safer roads, currently by working to alter the daylight savings system in a bid to utilise lighter evenings, which will increase safety for pedestrians.
