Do you remember the ‘good old days’ of safety training films, back when they aimed to shock, and the gorier was often the better? Well, here are our three nominees for ‘Best Safety Film of Yesteryear’.
See what you think, and don’t forget to share any hidden gems that you’ve unearthed…!
Best Soundtrack: Shake Hands with Danger.
A Centron Production from the 1970s. You won’t be able to forget it, partly because it’s frightening and surprising – but mainly because of the great country music soundtrack by a Johnny Cash sound-a-like.
Best Special Effects: Think About This.
Indeed, but perhaps best not whilst eating… This safety film is certainly memorable for its gore content.
Best Moves: Safety Rap
We’re unsure of the origins of this gem – but memorable for the poses alone.
